UST is seeking a Backend Developer Analyst with solid Spark and Scala experience to join the SIMA Squad. You will participate in the full software delivery lifecycle, collaborating with business and technical teams to implement scalable data solutions and ensure code quality across environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in Apache Spark/Scala development (minimum 3 years).
• Hands-on experience with Control-M scheduling.
• Strong PL/SQL and ETL capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and implement user stories following Agile/Scrum.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions with Spark and Scala.
• Develop and optimize ETL data pipelines.
• Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Troubleshoot defects across development, testing and production.
• Support UAT activities and coordinate issue resolution.
• Participate in production validation and post-deployment support.
• Monitor scheduled processes with Control-M.
• Develop PL/SQL scripts and database objects.
• Ensure coding standards and performance requirements.
