SME Careers is seeking an experienced contractor to review and generate language content for AI training. You will apply expert localization judgment to ensure terminology, tone, and cultural nuance for Spain, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and clarity.

You will assess AI outputs, provide detailed feedback, and document results across time zones. Remote, hourly engagement with potential future opportunities in AI data services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Translation, Linguistics, Localization, Communications, or related field.
• Native or near-native Spanish proficiency with Spain locale conventions.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency (reading/writing).
• 5+ years professional localization/translation experience.
• MQM/LQA concepts applied to quality decisions.
• Proficiency with CAT tools and QA workflows.
• Excellent editorial judgment with attention to detail.
• Ability to fact-check localized content using reliable sources.
• Hourly contractor with dependable throughput across time zones.
• Experience in AI data training/annotation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI Training Content: Create prompts and responses to guide AI learning across topics.
• Optimize AI Performance: Evaluate and rank AI responses for accuracy and relevance.
• Ensure Model Integrity: Test AI models for inaccuracies or biases and validate reliability across use cases.
