lastminute.com is hiring a Software Engineer for Accommodation Supply. This full-remote role covers Spain, Portugal and Chiasso, with a permanent full-time contract and a 36-hour work week.

The engineer will join the Accommodation Supply Engineering team to design, implement and scale services that power holiday bookings. The ideal candidate has JVM experience (Java/Kotlin), strong knowledge of Microservices, Kubernetes, AWS, and messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.

Formación

• Strong experience as a Software Engineer programming in OO/FP languages but preferably in JVM: Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with Clean code, SOLID principles and Agile mindset.
• Knowledge of building scalable systems and data-driven decisions.
• Proactive in understanding business needs and delivering quality software.

Responsabilidades

• Design, write, and test high-quality software using TDD/DDD/clean code.
• Build resilient, secure, and performant applications serving millions of requests.
• Define best tech solutions and CI/CD infrastructure with architects.
• Ensure delivery quality and system reliability at scale.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
