Nuvolar Works is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join a healthcare project, focusing on quality across backend services, APIs, and integrations in a complex digital health ecosystem.

You’ll shape the testing strategy from the start, define best practices, and collaborate with developers and product teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle while delivering reliable software across platforms.

Formación

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer with backend/API focus.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Experience creating or maintaining automated test suites.
• Solid QA methodologies, test design, regression, exploratory, integration, and defect management.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of cloud environments, preferably AWS (DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, Secrets Manager).
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD workflows, preferably GitHub Actions.
• AI literacy and familiarity with AI-assisted tools for testing and documentation.
• Ability to understand complex technical environments and collaborate with teams.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum.
• Professional level English.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute the QA strategy for backend services, APIs, integrations, and critical product workflows.
• Understand the product domain and translate business requirements into effective test scenarios.
• Design, maintain, and execute test plans covering functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, exploratory testing, and edge cases.
• Perform backend and API testing using tools such as Postman and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Validate REST APIs, data consistency, error handling, authentication flows, and integration scenarios.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL to validate data integrity and support testing activities.
• Contribute to test automation initiatives by maintaining and improving automated test suites.
• Analyse logs, traces, and system behaviour using monitoring and observability tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and technical stakeholders to identify risks early and ensure release readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement of QA practices and help establish quality standards within the team.
