Job summary

Altech Group Ltd is seeking an engineer to join a fast-growing AI startup, with a strong chance to impact product direction. The role blends Python backend engineering, distributed systems, and full-stack development across Python/Django and TypeScript/React.

You'll own features end to end, build scalable production services, tackle performance and reliability challenges, and contribute to frontend work while embracing AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• Strong Python experience building production systems.
• Django experience strongly preferred, alongside distributed systems knowledge.
• Interest in full-stack development; React/TypeScript experience is a bonus, but willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong ownership, proactive problem-solving and sound engineering judgement.

Responsibilities

• Build reliable, high-throughput Python services and asynchronous workflows.
• Tackle distributed systems challenges across performance, scalability and reliability.
• Contribute to the React/TypeScript frontend and develop across the stack.
• Own features end to end, from technical design through testing and release.
