UST is seeking a DevOps Engineer with AI experience to design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure across cloud and on‑prem environments. The role emphasizes secure, automated deployment, container orchestration, and support for AI initiatives.

The candidate will build and monitor CI/CD pipelines, manage Terraform/CloudFormation IaC, and work with Docker/Kubernetes. Hybrid work in Basque Spain is possible with a strong benefits package.

Formación

• 3+ years in DevOps, Cloud engineering, SRE, or similar roles.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• Proficient in Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
• Understanding of networking, security and cloud architectures.
• Experience in Agile environments; English at least B2.
• Cloud certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer or AWS DevOps Engineer.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. This role requires strong expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, cloud platforms, and experience supporting or enabling Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server virtual machines.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security through observability and monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and application-related issues.
• Support infrastructure and platform capabilities that enable AI and data-driven solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Qualifications

• ~3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar roles.
• ~ Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• ~ Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps and Terraform
• ~ Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• ~ Experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
• ~ Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
• ~ Experience working in Agile environments.
• ~ English B2 Experience with Azure AI Foundry.
• Knowledge of CloudFormation.
• Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
