Job summary

Talan Spain is seeking an experienced SAP TM Architect/Consultant to design, implement, and optimize robust transportation management solutions within SAP TM. This permanent role involves collaborating with stakeholders, and driving best practices across SAP modules.

You will lead configurations, integrations (ECC/S/4HANA, EWM, EM, GTS), supervise testing, and help ensure successful go-lives for complex logistics projects, with a focus on operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP TM Consultant or Architect.
• Proven expertise in multiple SAP TM modules and functionalities (e.g., Freight Order, Freight Settlement, Charge Management, Planning, Optimization).
• Strong understanding of integration points between SAP TM and other SAP modules (SD, MM, FI/CO, EWM, EM, S/4HANA).
• Experience in at least 2 full lifecycle SAP TM implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• SAP TM certification is a significant plus

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP TM solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Conduct detailed business process analysis and translate complex requirements into functional specifications and system designs.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP TM functionalities, including freight order management, freight settlement, charge management, and transportation planning.
• Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments, integrations with SAP ECC/S/4HANA, EWM, EM, GTS, and data migration activities.
• Perform system testing, UAT support, and provide training to end-users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP TM issues, providing ongoing support and system enhancements.
• Act as a subject matter expert, staying current with SAP TM innovations and industry trends to recommend strategic improvements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and test plans
