We Optimise | Amazon Es is seeking a Route and Logistics Planner to design, implement, and optimize transportation routes across Spain. This fully remote role focuses on maximizing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely deliveries using advanced routing tools and real-time data.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote setting while collaborating with dispatchers and drivers to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics planning, route optimization, or transportation management.
• Proficiency with route planning software and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize daily, weekly, and monthly transportation routes for the fleet, considering delivery windows and driver hours.
• Utilize routing software and GPS technology to create efficient delivery sequences.
• Analyze transportation data to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement.
• Collaborate with dispatchers, drivers, and customer service teams to ensure smooth route execution.
• Monitor real-time delivery progress and adjust routes for unforeseen circumstances.
• Ensure routes comply with transportation regulations, including hours of service.
• Generate reports on route performance, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Maintain accurate route information in the TMS.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans for disruptions.
