Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a Manager, Sports Franchise Data to lead a team of researchers responsible for building and maintaining a comprehensive database of global sports franchises. You will oversee workflows, ensure data quality on franchise registrations, ownership, financials, and key executives, and collaborate with product, sales, and research teams.

You will report to the Director, R&C Adverse Media Delivery and drive efficiencies through process improvements, coaching, and strong leadership

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• People management experience in a client-facing environment.
• Ability to work in a high pressure environment with strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication with senior management and team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead a researchers team to ensure timely, high-quality data delivery.
• Define and oversee team workflows aligned with global product standards.
• Collaborate with product, sales, and research teams.
• Report to the Director, R&C Adverse Media Delivery.
• Hire, supervise, and develop team members.
• Drive changes to workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
• Plan research resources for database tasks and large ad hoc projects.
• Work under tight deadlines in a goal-oriented environment.
• Collaborate across projects as needed.
