Airalo is hiring a backend engineer to build and maintain scalable services for a global customer base. You will implement robust APIs, optimize database queries, and contribute to a modular, service-oriented architecture.

The role requires 3-5 years in backend development with PHP, strong OOP knowledge, and experience with Laravel or Symfony. You will work in English within a remote team across Spain and the UK, with CI/CD, Docker, and testing practices valued.

Formación

• 3-5 years of professional backend development experience with PHP.
• Experience building applications in Laravel or Symfony with a desire to transition.
• Strong understanding of OOP, interfaces, and code modularity.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain robust backend services capable of handling high-volume global traffic.
• Implement functional APIs and optimize query performance for a seamless user experience.
• Contribute to modular architecture and service-oriented systems.
• Write clean, maintainable code applying SOLID, OOP, and design patterns.
• Master debugging and resolving issues across the stack.
• Integrate asynchronous processes using queues and event-driven patterns.
• Collaborate with Senior Engineers and Product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
