Rancho BioSciences is seeking an experienced Pathology Research Scientist to join on a part-time, contractor basis. The role focuses on biomarker discovery, diagnostic development, and computational pathology initiatives across translational research to clinical development.

Formación

• MD/DO, MBBS, or equivalent with board certification/eligibility in AP or AP/CP.
• Advanced pathology training or subspecialty is preferred.
• Experience in clinical trials, translational research, or drug development is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a pathology SME for biomarker and diagnostic programs including companion diagnostics and digital pathology.
• Review literature and synthesize primary data to guide model design and interpretation.
• Support ML/AI initiatives by translating pathology knowledge into guidance for model development and validation.
• Define disease- and indication-specific annotation guidelines for tissue compartments and morphological features.
• Review digital slide annotations and provide quality control and validation documentation.
