Mercor is seeking Spanish Language Experts to support an AI training project focused on high-quality audio transcription and linguistic data. You will transcription Spanish and English audio, annotate metadata, and help improve next-generation AI systems from a fully remote environment.

No prior AI experience is required. This contract, part-time role offers hourly compensation of $43–$47 and flexible scheduling to accommodate multiple assignments while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish.
• Professional experience in audio transcription or related language work.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe Spanish and English audio content as required.
• Review, edit, and proofread transcripts for clarity, consistency, and linguistic accuracy.
• Add relevant metadata and contextual annotations to audio files.
• Follow project guidelines and adapt to evolving requirements.
• Complete assignments within established timelines and quality standards.
• Identify and clarify ambiguous audio or linguistic content.
• Provide feedback on transcription tools, workflows, and linguistic challenges.
