Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Music Production Expert for Spanish (ES). This remote contract role requires 20+ hours/week for up to 6 months, with compensation of $39–$54/hour. You will evaluate AI-generated music, ensure vocal and mix quality, and help label songs by genre and structure. Start date is immediate.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in music production or audio engineering, native Spanish, and strong ability to follow English instructions. Formal training or commercial credits are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have native or near-native Spanish (ES) proficiency.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
• 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated music across genres for musicality, creativity, and production quality.
• Compare songs on prompt adherence, vocal quality, and mix quality.
• Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and musical characteristics.
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals for quality and accuracy.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.
