Qualifications

• Active CPC certification required.
• Comprehensive understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems and E&M leveling guidelines.
• Experience with diverse clinical documentation types and coding challenges.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Access to up-to-date ICD-10 and CPT coding books and E&M guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Annotate and review medical records, ensuring accurate ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Apply E&M leveling using official guidelines to validate datasets.
• Use current coding references to maintain compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.
• Provide feedback on coding guidelines and edge cases to improve workflows.
• Contribute domain expertise to create and validate medical code datasets for AI training.
