ICODOS is seeking a Mechanical Engineer – Static & Rotating Equipment for a remote role based in Germany or Spain. You will own mechanical design and specifications for rotating and static equipment across ICODOS plants, from design criteria to procurement and construction support.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in rotating equipment, strong API 610/617/682 knowledge, and a proven vendor-evaluation track record, with cross-disciplinary collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in rotating-equipment design and specification in plant engineering (chemical process sector preferred).
• Strong knowledge of API 610, 617 and 682 and related international codes.
• Experience specifying compressors, pumps and related machinery including sealing, lubrication and rotordynamic assessment.
• Experience contributing mechanical input to vessel and static-equipment design and manufacturing.
• Proven vendor-evaluation and technical bid-analysis track record.
• Familiarity with piping and process interfaces, including nozzle loads and layout.
• Power-to-X experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own mechanical design and specifications for rotating and static equipment across ICODOS plants.
• Prepare datasheets, technical specs and sizing calculations per API codes.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and external stakeholders.
• Evaluate vendors and review vendor deliverables.
• Support engineering automation and plant development.
