Alignerr is seeking a Mathematics Specialist to help train and evaluate AI models, developing rigorous problems and stress-testing mathematical reasoning in a remote contract role.

You will design statements across algebra, calculus, statistics, and discrete mathematics, review AI-generated reasoning for accuracy, and collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers to improve performance, ensuring clarity and depth in all deliverables.

Formación

• Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Deep subject-matter expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics.
• Experience writing and running code in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or applied problems.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex ideas clearly.
• Ability to work independently on structured, task-based assignments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, solve, and review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and clear pedagogical value.
• Design complex problem statements across algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related areas.
• Evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning for accuracy, rigor, and logical coherence.
• Identify errors, gaps in reasoning, and areas where AI mathematical output falls short.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to improve model performance.
• Ensure mathematical clarity and depth across all deliverables — notation, logic, and exposition included.
