BASE life science is a fast-growing consultancy in the life sciences industry, seeking innovative data engineers to join us in Spain. This role sits at the intersection of technology, business, and life sciences, with a strong focus on data migration and translating client requirements into clear technical logic.

You will use Python, SQL, Excel, Ubuntu/Linux, VS Code, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence to analyze data and support delivery.

Formación

• Master’s degree in STEM or quantitative field.
• Strong Python experience and version control practices.
• Advanced MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data migration projects.
• Customer-facing consulting experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Translating business and customer requirements into clear technical logic and structured migration or data-handling activities
• Supporting the design and execution of data migration and data processing tasks in a controlled, traceable, and compliant manner
• Working with data, logic, and processes to ensure tasks are performed accurately and in a controlled manner
• Collaborating with clients and internal teams to understand needs, challenge assumptions, and propose the right approach
• Presenting technical solutions and explaining complex topics in a clear and accessible way
• Contributing to data quality, documentation, and governance best practices
