EPAM Systems in Madrid is seeking a Lead Software Test Automation Engineer for the private banking sector. This remote role offers visits to the Madrid city centre office once per week.

You will drive end-to-end testing, define acceptance criteria, and push automation where it matters to ensure auditable test trails and evidence in tooling. You will lead testing efforts with cross-functional teams, develop automation frameworks, and deliver high-quality software for financial services clients in

Formación

• 5+ years of code-based test automation experience.
• Experience integrating multiple applications and building automated test coverage.
• Ability to follow strict testing and development guidelines and suggest improvements.
• Proven ability to perform in high-pressure environments and make risk-aware decisions.
• Experience with Linux, UNIX, Java testing, and CI/CD concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Test planning, design, and scope definition.
• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated tests (Unit, Component, Integration).
• Manage defects, analyze results, and provide improvement feedback.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Develop and use test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
