UST is seeking a Java Developer to join a microservice-based cloud environment in the utility tech sector. You will design, develop, and support secure, scalable Java services, APIs, and integrations connecting critical business systems.

You will work closely with a highly innovative team, participating in code reviews, secure development practices, and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring performance, reliability, and observability across cloud-native deployments.

Formación

• Strong experience building enterprise Java applications.
• Hands-on with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Solid knowledge of Hibernate/JPA, relational databases, and SQL optimization.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging.
• Strong testing with JUnit and Mockito; contract testing experience is a plus.
• Familiar with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD, and code review practices.
• Understanding of secure coding, observability, logging, and monitoring.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement Java services, REST APIs, adapters, and extensions using Java and Spring.
• Translate requirements into clean, scalable code.
• Develop RESTful APIs with proper validation, versioning, and error handling.
• Implement reliable event-driven integrations and async messaging patterns.
• Build and optimize persistence with Hibernate/JPA and SQL best practices.
• Integrate microservices with CRM, finance, analytics, web and mobile platforms.
• Create tests to ensure high-quality delivery and perform code reviews.
