Job summary

The Whiteam Consulting is seeking an experienced Insider Threat & DLP Security Analyst to strengthen our cybersecurity projects protecting sensitive enterprise data from deliberate or accidental loss.

You will analyze logs, extend DLP baselines, and develop threat hunting methods across Cloud, SaaS, and CASB environments. The role requires strong data analysis and SIEM skills, English at C1, and Spain/Poland/UK/Portugal remote eligibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, security monitoring, DLP, insider threat, or related field.
• Strong experience in data analysis and security monitoring.
• Solid experience with SIEM platforms and log analysis.
• Strong pattern recognition and analytical skills for identifying suspicious activity.
• Knowledge of Cloud environments, SaaS and CASB solutions.
• Advanced English level (C1 minimum).

Responsibilities

• Assess insider risks and balance them with business requirements for securely sharing data with approved third parties, regulators and customers.
• Support protection of sensitive enterprise data while enabling colleagues to perform their activities.
• Identify insider threat use cases in collaboration with the DLP Insider Threat Lead.
• Perform insider threat hunting across security monitoring and data sources.
• Analyse security events, logs, and data patterns to identify suspicious activity and indicators.
• Identify gaps in visibility, monitoring, and security controls and work with teams to remediate them.
• Develop and recommend high-fidelity threat hunting techniques to the DLP Lead.
• Contribute to regular threat hunting activities and automated alerting use cases.
• Investigate and analyse complex security scenarios involving multiple systems and data sources.
