SGS is seeking a Global Technical Manager for Business Assurance Certification. This senior role leads technical and accreditation strategy, sets governance standards, and guides a dispersed network of experts across regions.

The successful candidate will influence senior leaders, manage key accreditation relationships, and drive continuous improvement in certification delivery. The position is fully remote, with requirement for international travel as needed and a proven track record in global

Formación

• Graduate-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in a relevant technical, scientific, engineering, management system, commercial or governance discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant certification and/or accreditation experience, including global leadership.
• Proven track record leading geographically dispersed teams and managing accreditation strategy.

Responsabilidades

• Set the global technical and accreditation strategy for Business Assurance Certification in consultation with the Global Head of Certification and leadership.
• Lead, develop and manage global technical and accreditation functions across multiple countries and regions.
• Define, approve and enforce global certification policies, technical requirements and governance controls across the affiliate network.
• Provide authoritative technical direction and final decision-making on disputes, risks or integrity issues.
• Manage key Accreditation Body relationships and ensure confidence in SGS integrity, impartiality and governance.
• Ensure technical and accreditation requirements are implemented to protect compliance and enable viable operations.
• Represent the Business Assurance Division externally and act as delegate when required.
• Lead investigations and corrective action governance for material failures and restore compliant operation.
• Drive simplification, digitalisation and continuous improvement of technical processes and delivery models.
