Job summary

Talantir is seeking a Cybersecurity IT Specialist, EU (remote) with expertise in Splunk to monitor, analyze and respond to security events across our international client base.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, English at C1, and a technical engineer degree. You will work in shift rotations, perform L1/L2 incident response, and collaborate with stakeholders during security events while supporting EDR, email security, and vulnerability management.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of cybersecurity experience.
• English fluency (C1).
• Technical Engineer degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and triage security alerts using Splunk SIEM.
• Perform L1/L2 incident response: investigation, containment, reporting, and ticket handling.
• Support EDR (Carbon Black), email security (Proofpoint), and vulnerability management (Tenable) operations.
• Develop and maintain detection use cases, playbooks, and log/source integrations.
• Execute agent‑based and agentless vulnerability scans and coordinate remediation follow‑up.
• Create operational KPIs and contribute to written incident reports.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders during security events.
