Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Domain Architect to shape enterprise security strategies across cloud, infrastructure, identity, and data environments.

You will define current-state and target-state architectures, establish standards and roadmaps, and lead security initiatives with stakeholders to deliver measurable risk reductions. The role emphasizes Azure, VMware Cloud Foundation, Entra IAM, Zero Trust, and defender technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in security architecture roles.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Strong expertise in cybersecurity and enterprise security architecture.
• Experience designing Azure Security Architecture and cloud governance.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and IAM.
• Hands-on with VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware security.
• Understanding of Zero Trust, defense-in-depth, and network segmentation.
• Experience with Defender for Cloud/Endpoint/Identity.
• Ability to communicate security concepts to executives and stakeholders.
• Experience with healthcare or public-sector security frameworks is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise security architectures across cloud, infra, identity, and data.
• Develop current-state and target-state architectures aligned to business objectives and compliance.
• Define and maintain security standards, controls, and multi-year roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership across Azure and VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
• Strengthen security capabilities around Entra ID, IAM, Zero Trust, data protection, and encryption.
• Guide implementation and governance of Microsoft Defender technologies.
• Facilitate security workshops with stakeholders to align and gain approval.
• Support roadmaps and track business, risk, and compliance outcomes.
• Conduct architecture reviews, gap analyses, and risk assessments.
• Produce ADRs and ARB documentation for architectural decisions.
• Advise executives on risks, priorities, and remediation approaches.
• Contribute to threat detection, incident response, and security resilience initiatives.
