UST España & Latam is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer with strong Snowflake and Python expertise to transform telemetry, log, and event data into trusted insights. You will join a small, impact-driven team building the data foundations that power engineering intelligence and reporting.

High English level is required, and you will design, build, and operate data platforms, pipelines, and governance practices across the engineering stack while optimizing performance and cost.

Formación

• Hands-on data engineering with Snowflake
• Strong Python development experience
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
• Ability to parse and model telemetry, log and event data
• Experience with data governance and retention practices
• Familiarity with Git-based development workflows
• Excellent communication with tech and business stakeholders

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate engineering telemetry data platforms in Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain Python-based ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Ingest telemetry data from engineering tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.).
• Parse, normalize, and process high-volume telemetry, log, and event datasets.
• Create scalable, well-governed data models supporting adoption and analytics.
• Build automated pipelines with monitoring, alerts, and error handling.
• Develop reporting datasets for stakeholder scrutiny.
• Optimize Snowflake models, queries, and storage for performance and cost.
• Implement governance, security, access controls, and retention policies.
• Follow modern engineering practices including testing, documentation, and version control.
