Placements24 is seeking a data-driven Procurement Analyst to join a strategically focused team. This remote role analyzes spend, supplier performance, and market intelligence to drive strategic sourcing and cost optimization for a leading financial services institution.

You will build spend cubes, dashboards, and analyses, supporting negotiations and business cases while ensuring data integrity. Excellent reporting and remote collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement analysis, financial analysis, or data analytics.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data manipulation and modeling tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with procurement processes and systems (P2P, e-sourcing).
• Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
• Understanding of financial services industry procurement needs is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a drive to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze procurement data, including spend, supplier performance, and market trends, to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain spend cube reports and dashboards for various business units.
• Support strategic sourcing projects by providing detailed market research and supplier analysis.
• Monitor and report on KPIs for procurement activities and supplier performance.
• Assist in the development of business cases for procurement initiatives and technology implementations.
• Identify risks and opportunities within the supply base and provide mitigation or exploitation recommendations.
• Collaborate with procurement managers and category leads to support negotiations.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within procurement systems and databases.
• Prepare presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on procurement best practices, analytical tools, and industry trends relevant to financial services.
