JobLookup is seeking a Composites Manufacturing Specialist Engineer to join its manufacturing engineering organization. The successful candidate will support development, industrialization, qualification, and continuous improvement of prepreg composite materials and manufacturing processes.

This role blends hands-on manufacturing engineering with materials expertise and requires collaboration with engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and external suppliers.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in composite manufacturing.
• Experience with prepreg composite materials and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of manufacturing documentation, engineering specifications, and process control.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain engineering specifications for hand lay-up manufacturing processes for prepreg components.
• Define manufacturing routing sheets for prepreg parts per specifications.
• Establish prepreg material handling requirements including out-time tracking and shelf-life management.
• Lead new-part qualification activities with first-article build plans and process documentation.
• Develop and validate new composite manufacturing processes including lay-up configurations and cure cycles.
• Coordinate with material and process suppliers and verify compliance with specs.
• Support automation introductions, including AFP, and compare with manual processes.
• Update routing sheets, work instructions and process documentation for new and existing components.
