UST España & Latam is seeking a Mid-Level Big Data Developer to join an international team responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing data processing solutions within a strategic Client Contribution platform.

You will design, develop, and enhance data processing solutions using Spark and SQL, collaborating with stakeholders and working in an Agile DevOps environment with CI/CD practices.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
• Strong SQL knowledge, including ANSI SQL, Hive SQL, Spark SQL.
• Hands-on Apache Spark experience.
• Experience with Scala, Python or Java.
• Experience in Big Data environments (EMR, Hive, Cloudera, Spark ecosystem).
• Reporting experience with Qlik Sense.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher (C1 preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop ETL and data transformation processes.
• Implement and maintain Spark-based data pipelines.
• Support data integration initiatives across the platform.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze and improve requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data solutions and development processes.
• Work within Agile teams following DevOps and CI practices.
