UST España & Latam is seeking a Mid-Level Big Data Developer to join an international team responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing data processing solutions within a strategic Client Contribution platform.

You will design, develop, and enhance data processing solutions using modern Big Data technologies, collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or similar roles.
• Strong SQL knowledge, including ANSI SQL, Hive SQL, Spark SQL.
• Solid hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
• Experience with at least one programming language: Scala, Python, Java.
• Experience in Big Data environments (Amazon EMR, Hive, Cloudera, Spark-based ecosystems).
• Reporting experience using Qlik Sense.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, Sonar, Nexus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop ETL and data transformation processes.
• Implement and maintain Spark-based data pipelines.
• Support data integration initiatives across the platform.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze and improve requirements.
• Contribute proactively to continuous improvement of data solutions and development processes.
• Work within Agile teams following DevOps and CI practices.
