UST España & Latam is seeking a Mid-Level Big Data Developer to design, develop, and optimize data processing solutions using SQL, Spark, Scala, and cloud technologies. You will build and maintain Spark-based pipelines, implement ETL processes, and ensure data quality across our client platforms while collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders in an agile, DevOps-driven environment.

Remotely within Spain, you will join an international team and contribute to ongoing data

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or similar roles.
• Strong SQL knowledge: ANSI SQL, Hive SQL, Spark SQL, and general SQL development.
• Hands-on Apache Spark experience and Big Data tooling.
• Experience with Scala, Python or Java in data processing projects.
• Experience with cloud-based Big Data environments and CI/CD/DevOps practices.
• Experience with data quality, data integration, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop ETL and data transformation processes.
• Implement and maintain Spark-based data pipelines.
• Support data integration initiatives across the platform.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data solutions and development processes.
• Work within Agile teams following DevOps practices.
