Speechify is seeking a strong backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust API landscapes including public TTS and internal services such as Payment, Subscription, Auth and Analytics.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, fast-paced delivery, and building user-focused experiences that power Speechify’s products for a global audience. A flat organization values leadership through technical excellence and fast results.

Formación

• Proven experience in backend development with TS/Node.
• Direct experience with GCP and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments (preferred).
• Proficiency deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API, internal APIs like Payment, Subscription, Auth and Consumption Tracking, ensuring they meet business and scalability requirements.
• Oversee the full backend API landscape, enhancing and optimizing for performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration needs for enterprise clients.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience.
