Speechify, a 100% distributed tech company, is seeking a backend engineer (TS/Node) to design and maintain robust APIs for payments, subscriptions, text-to-speech, and analytics, helping the product scale and delight users.

You will own backend API landscape, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive architecture decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure), Docker and Kubernetes, and a track record of delivering reliable services.

Formación

• Proven backend development with TS/Node.
• Direct experience with GCP and knowledge of AWS/Azure.
• Efficient ideation and implementation prioritization.
• Experience with containerized deployments (Docker).
• Proficiency deploying high-availability apps on Kubernetes.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public and internal ones.
• Oversee the full backend API landscape for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate on enterprise B2B solutions and integrations.
• Align backend architecture with product strategy and UX.
