Job summary

Alignerr Corp. in Barcelona is seeking Back End Developers to design, build, and optimize server-side systems and APIs powering AI products.

This is a fully remote, hourly contract role with flexible hours (10–40 hours per week) and scope to contribute to data pipelines, model serving, and scalable microservices. You will work with Python/Go/Java/Node.js/Rust, RESTful APIs, databases, and cloud services, collaborating asynchronously with distributed teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more back end languages (Python, Go, Java, Node.js, Rust).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back end services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Build scalable server-side architecture for AI training and inference workloads.
• Write clean, well-documented, testable code.
• Integrate with databases, queues, cloud services, and third-party APIs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate asynchronously with distributed teams.
