Job summary

MBN Solutions is hiring an Applied AI Engineer to own and build AI-powered workflows that support everyday business operations. You will connect models, data, tools and backend services, and shape evaluation methods to measure performance in real scenarios.

You’ll be part of a small, hands-on team with meaningful ownership, influencing architecture and delivery. This remote role offers UK/Europe scope and UK-aligned working hours.

Qualifications

• Proven ownership of production code.
• Experience building AI applications with LLMs.
• Ability to design reliable, scalable systems.
• Ability to evaluate AI systems beyond demos.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve AI applications used in live business workflows.
• Develop agentic systems that connect models, tools, data and backend services.
• Create evaluations that make performance measurable and guide improvements.
• Investigate failures, improve reliability and take solutions through to production.
• Turn complex operational requirements into practical engineering decisions.
• Help establish patterns and infrastructure that other engineers can build on.
