Job summary

Hostpapa is seeking a highly analytical Industrial Engineer focused on supply chain and logistics for a fully remote role. You will optimize inventory, reduce lead times, and improve efficiency across the whole supply chain using data-driven approaches.

You will collaborate with procurement, warehousing, and distribution teams, develop KPIs, and implement tech solutions to enhance visibility. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in supply chain and logistics with industrial engineering focus.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Proficiency with SAP, Oracle, or JDA.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau and data modeling.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; remote collaboration capability.
• Project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve supply chain and logistics operations including transport, warehousing, and inventory.
• Develop strategies to optimize inventory levels, lead times, and carrying costs.
• Design and refine warehouse layouts and material handling processes.
• Use data tools to forecast demand, plan capacity, and identify bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and distribution centers to cut costs.
• Develop and track KPIs to monitor supply chain performance.
• Implement technology to improve visibility and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Lead or participate in sustainability projects in the supply chain.
• Prepare reports and present findings to senior management.
