GRUPO VALL COMPANYS is seeking an Industrial Engineer specializing in Supply Chain and Logistics for a fully remote role. The candidate will optimize inventory, streamline warehousing, and drive efficiency across the distribution network through data-driven strategies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with procurement, warehousing, and distribution teams, and requires a strong analytical mindset, experience with ERP/SCM software, and fluency in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in supply chain and logistics with industrial engineering focus.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing and transportation logistics.
• Proficiency in planning and optimization software (SAP, Oracle, JDA).
• Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and statistical modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve all aspects of the supply chain and logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and minimize carrying costs.
• Design and refine warehouse layouts and material handling processes for maximum efficiency.
• Utilize data analysis and modeling tools to forecast demand, plan capacity, and identify logistical bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and distribution centers to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.
• Develop and maintain KPIs to track supply chain performance.
• Implement technology solutions to enhance visibility and efficiency within the supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards in logistics operations.
• Lead or participate in projects improving sustainability of supply chain practices.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to senior management.
