ALTER TECHNOLOGY TÜV NORD is seeking a Radio & Navigation Systems Technical Lead to drive the creation of a new maritime GNSS testing laboratory in Madrid. You will lead test lab development, define capabilities and develop methodologies for navigation and radio systems across Space, Defense, Security, Transportation and Industrial sectors.

The role focuses on PNT technologies, Galileo/EGNOS/SBAS, and RF instrumentation, with a hybrid work model and continuous training opportunities.

Formación

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics or related field.
• Experience in RF, GNSS, navigation or wireless communications.
• Knowledge of PNT technologies.
• Experience with Galileo, EGNOS and SBAS is highly valued.
• ISO/IEC 17025 testing environments are a plus.
• Hands-on RF instrumentation experience: Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, VNAs, testers.
• Ability to interpret regulations and translate requirements into testing solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset and proactive problem-solving.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, implementation and deployment of a new maritime GNSS testing laboratory.
• Develop testing methodologies, procedures and documentation.
• Analyze regulations and standards related to navigation, GNSS and radio equipment.
• Define laboratory capabilities, equipment and investment needs.
• Contribute to PNT-focused innovation projects.
• Provide technical support to customers and collaborate with teams.
• Drive development of new testing services and expertise within the lab.
