Techteamz in Spain seeks an experienced RF Subsystems Engineer to design, develop and validate communications subsystems for advanced nanosatellite missions.

This hands-on role covers the full RF lifecycle—from link budgets and architecture definition to hardware integration, HIL testing and over-the-air validation.

Requisitos: 5+ años en RF, MSc/PhD en Ingeniería Eléctrica o similares, experiencia en UHF/S-band/X-band y manejo de CST/ADS/HFSS; conocimientos de analizadores de espectro y CC.

Formación

  • 5+ years of RF engineering experience
  • MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, Telecommunications or related field
  • Hands-on experience with UHF, S-band and/or X-band systems
  • Experience with xqziphu tools such as CST, ADS, HFSS or similar
  • Practical knowledge of spectrum analysers, VNAs and RF test equipment
  • Familiarity with modulation schemes such as GMSK, QPSK, 8PSK and DVB-S2
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as CSP and CCSDS
  • RF payload, DSP, signal analysis or sensing experience is a strong advantage
  • Experience with ECSS standards and space-grade RF qualification is a plus

Responsabilidades

  • Define end-to-end RF subsystem architectures
  • Perform link budget analysis, RF chain modelling and performance optimisation
  • Design and integrate RF front-end solutions across UHF/VHF, S-band and X-band
  • Define subsystem requirements and interfaces with systems and payload teams
  • Support integration, verification and validation, including HIL and over-the-air testing
  • Evaluate RF components, technologies and suppliers
  • Explore onboard signal processing and data reduction for RF payloads
  • Assess advanced RF sensing concepts, including signal detection, classification and geolocation
