Job summary

Keysight is seeking an experienced R&D Software Operating Manager to lead software engineering activities for connectivity applications and components across Keysight products and industry solutions. You will manage a team of software engineers and drive the processes of producing and supporting software products.

The role involves planning, risk management, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure high reliability, security, and future architecture alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software R&D teams in complex hardware/software environments.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end multi-disciplinary products.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and scaled agile frameworks (SAFe or equivalent).
• Experience working with geographically distributed development teams.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead software engineering teams responsible for connectivity components and related software.
• Drive project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication across the product lifecycle.
• Oversee DevOps and quality practices to improve efficiency, quality and security compliance.
• Champion AI-assisted development practices to increase value delivery for the team.
• Manage issue escalation from internal partners and customers, ensuring timely resolution.
