Job summary

Ferrero is seeking an R&D Ice Cream Mix Design Manager for its Ice Cream Factory Comaker network. You will lead mix formulation initiatives, collaborate with internal experts, and guide projects to optimize ingredients, costs, and product quality.

The role requires advanced knowledge of ice cream chemistry and project leadership, with frequent transfers across Italy and abroad, and a strong focus on sustainability and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Food Science and at least 10 years of experience in global food manufacturing, including 5 years in ice cream.
• Experience leading product development, platform management, and global technical projects.
• Willingness to frequent transfers domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead transversal programs (cost saving, derisking, sustainability) and drive the Center of Expertise on mix formulation.
• Collaborate with internal experts to develop/tune raw materials and semi-finished products to improve organoleptic properties, product structure, and optimize costs.
• Lead and implement projects: mix skeleton design for applications, cost saving, and raw material innovation/derisking.
