Job summary

ICFO - The Institute of Photonic Sciences in Spain is seeking a dynamic Project and Communication Manager to support the Catalonia Quantum Academy (CQA). The role focuses on coordinating education actions, reporting, and communications to strengthen visibility and impact within the quantum ecosystem.

The candidate will manage education programs, collaborate with ICFO stakeholders and partners, and drive dissemination through the CQA website, events and board interactions.

Qualifications

• University degree in Science or Engineering (required).
• Proven experience in managing graduate education or higher education projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and delivery of education and training actions, events and community initiatives within the CQA.
• Prepare reports and supporting documentation on CQA actions; liaise with partners for timely execution and reporting.
• Coordinate with ICFO stakeholders and CQA partners; serve as operational point of contact for CQA activities.
• Prepare ICFO Board meeting materials: agendas, minutes and follow-up actions.
• Develop, maintain and implement the CQA Communication Plan, including website, social networks and newsletters.
• Coordinate logistics and administration of CQA events with ICFO departments, partners, speakers and participants.
