Job summary

ICFO is seeking a dynamic Project and Communication Manager to support the Catalonia Quantum Academy (CQA). You will help strengthen visibility, impact and growth of CQA within the Catalan and international quantum ecosystem.

The role involves coordinating education actions, reports, stakeholder communications and events, with a focus on data-driven evaluation and budget oversight. Based in Castelldefels, Barcelona region, the position is full-time with an international scope.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field of Science or Engineering.
• Experience managing graduate education or higher education projects, including planning, coordination, implementation, and dissemination.
• Proven ability to monitor and evaluate educational programs using data-driven indicators.
• Experience in budget monitoring and logistics coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with academic and administrative stakeholders.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and delivery of education and training actions, events and community initiatives within the CQA, including managing calls, application processes and participant communications.
• Prepare reports and supporting documentation on CQA actions, including liaising with partners to gather relevant information, to ensure execution and reporting are achieved in a timely manner.
• Manage coordination with ICFO stakeholders and CQA partners, serving as the operational point of contact for CQA activities.
• Coordinate the preparation of CQA Board meetings, including agendas, minutes and supporting documentation and follow-up on actions.
• Develop, maintain and implement the CQA Communication Plan, including the website, social networks and newsletter, aligned with strategic priorities.
• Coordinate the logistical and administrative aspects of CQA events and activities, liaising with internal departments, partners, speakers and participants.
