MPower Plus is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team in Madrid. The role focuses on expanding test coverage, automating test systems, and integrating hardware-software tests across Linux environments.

Hybrid work setup with Tue-Thu in the Madrid office and two days remote; 5 days on-site during ramp-up. You will collaborate to improve test infrastructure, diagnose regressions, and drive quality across releases.

Formación

• Strong Python and test automation framework development experience.
• Scripting in Linux (Bash/Shell) for test systems.
• Experience with hardware-software integration testing and system validation.

Responsabilidades

• Modify test systems and add functionality to tests and RF instruments.
• Increase test coverage, screen regressions, and improve infrastructure.
• Identify opportunities for automation to improve product quality.
• Increase capacity and efficiency of tests and test setups.
• Troubleshoot, communicate, triage and debug issues.

Work Setting: Hybrid work mode; Tue-Thu from the office in Madrid and 2 days remote. Probably all 5 days in office until ramp up is completed.

Experience: 5+ years of experience

Key Responsibilities

• Modify test systems and add more functionality to the systems under test (plus additional RF instruments).
• Supporting efforts to increase test coverage, screen and resolve regressions, and improve infrastructure.
• Help identify opportunities for automation and improve the quality of the products.
• Help to increase capacity and improve efficiency of tests and test setups
• Troubleshooting, communication, triage and debugging.

Required Skills & Experience

Test Automation & Programming: Python (Strong), Test automation framework development, Automation scripting for test systems, Linux scripting (Bash/Shell)

System & Device Testing: Hardware-software integration testing, System validation testing, Test setup configuration and maintenance, End-to-end test execution

Infrastructure & Coverage: Test coverage improvement, Regression testing, Test infrastructure enhancement, CI/CD fundamentals

Operating Systems: Linux/Unix environment, Command line proficiency
