Tamarind Intelligence in Madrid, Spain, is seeking a QA Engineer to join a hybrid team. You will work Tue–Thu in-office with some remote work, contributing to test automation and RF/instrument testing in a challenging environment.

The role requires roughly five years of QA/testing experience, strong Python skills, and English language proficiency to collaborate with international teams. The position offers a path to advanced automated testing and robust test infrastructure.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA engineering or test automation.
• Proficiency in Python, Linux scripting, and test automation frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Modify test systems and add functionality to tests and RF instruments.
• Increase test coverage, resolve regressions and improve infrastructure.
• Identify automation opportunities and improve product quality.

Job Title: QA Engineer

Location: Madrid, Spain

Work Setting:

Hybrid work mode; Tue-Thu from the office in Madrid and 2 days remote. Probably all 5 days in office until ramp up is completed.

Experience: 5 years of experience

Languages required: English

Key Responsibilities:

• Modify test systems and add more functionality to the systems under test (plus additional RF instruments).
• Supporting efforts to increase test coverage, screen and resolve regressions, and improve infrastructure.
• Help identify opportunities for automation and improve the quality of the products.
• Help to increase capacity and improve efficiency of tests and test setups
• Troubleshooting, communication, triage and debugging.

Required Skills & Experience:

Test Automation & Programming: Python (Strong), Test automation framework development, Automation scripting for test systems, Linux scripting (Bash/Shell)

System & Device Testing: Hardware-software integration testing, System validation testing, Test setup configuration and maintenance, End-to-end test execution

Debugging & Troubleshooting: Log analysis, Root cause analysis, Defect triage, Debugging complex test failures

Infrastructure & Coverage: Test coverage improvement, Regression testing, Test infrastructure enhancement, CI/CD fundamentals

Operating Systems: Linux/Unix environment, Command line proficiency
