Flowserve Corporation in Madrid region seeks a QA Engineer to develop and run quality control programs, translating customer specs into product criteria and creating control plans. You will address day-to-day quality issues across manufacturing, customer sites and supplier facilities through robust data analysis and collaboration.

The role requires lean six sigma proficiency, quality control experience, and strong communication.

Formación

• BS or BA degree in a relevant field.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with production to plan and execute inbound and production checks.

• Monitor KPIs and drive root cause corrective actions.
• Manage customer witness inspections.

Role Summary:
As a QA Engineer, you will support in the development, implementation and running of quality control programs and procedures. This position involves the translation of customer specifications and industry standards into product / process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements. You’ll also address the day‑to‑day issues with production quality within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites and supplier facilities.

Your role:

• Coordinate with production in order to plan and execute inbound and production checks
• Manage relations with customers or third party inspectors
• Participate in external supplier quality testing and audits
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) events
• Monitor product portfolio KPIs and drive effective root cause corrective actions where appropriate to address gaps to agreed targets
• Manage customer witness inspections
• Maintain and analyze data to provide information or identify problems for management and stakeholders on the state of a process or product quality
• Create awareness in the Leadership community regarding what opportunities have been discovered or developed and how to realize them
• Collaborate with the department or other company departments to clarify / resolve issues techniques related to QC activities.
• Offer all documents as per QAP to customer after coordinating with internal departments and closing all documentation queries
• Other duties as assigned

Your profile:

• Experience in engineering and utilization of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies
• Experience in quailty control department
• Understanding of product / process flow
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and / or 0-2 years relevant experience
