NEWTON Ingenieros is seeking an experienced Mechanical Quality Control Inspector to join its industrial projects in the Tarragona area. The role focuses on on-site quality control of mechanical works and supervision to ensure compliance with safety and technical standards.

Candidates should have technical education in Industrial Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering, be able to interpret drawings (P&IDs, isometrics), and coordinate non-conformities with site teams.

Formación

• Technical education in Industrial Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Técnico Superior en Construcciones Metálicas or closely related field.
• Previous experience in quality control of mechanical works within industrial construction projects.
• Located within a commutable distance of Tarragona, Catalonia.

Responsabilidades

• On-site at industrial facilities and travel within the Tarragona area.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, isometrics, P&IDs and technical documentation.
• Experience managing non-conformities and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with site teams.
• Prepare clear and structured technical reports using Microsoft Office and quality management software.

Are you experienced in mechanical quality control and supervision within industrial projects?

We are looking for a Mechanical Quality Control Inspector to join industrial projects in the Tarragona area.

Essential requirements

• Technical education in Industrial Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Técnico Superior en Construcciones Metálicas, or a closely related field.
• Previous experience in quality control of mechanical works within industrial construction projects.
• Located within a commutable distance of Tarragona, Catalonia.

Desirable qualifications

• Availability to work on-site at industrial facilities and travel within the Tarragona area.
• Knowledge of quality and industrial safety regulations and standards applicable to mechanical assembly.
• Experience with welding, piping, boilerwork and metal structures.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, isometrics, P&IDs and technical documentation.
• Experience performing measurements and dimensional checks.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management software, including the preparation of clear and structured technical reports.
• Experience managing non-conformities and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with site teams.
