Eurofragance is seeking a quality control professional to join our fragrance team in Rubí, near Barcelona. You will ensure measuring equipment is properly set up, perform organoleptic and physical-chemical analysis of raw materials, and support in maintaining the quality lab.

The role involves identifying causes of rejection, improving procedures, and developing quality documentation. A science degree plus fragrance exposure is preferred; 2–3 years in a fragrance or flavour company is desirable.

• Science (chemical, biology, engineering, food, etc) degree or equivalent.
• Desirable 2–3 years in fragrance/ flavours company in technical/analysis/quality control.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out fragrance quality control tasks and ensure measuring equipment is set up and functioning correctly.
• Perform raw materials homologation analysis (organoleptic and physical-chemical).
• Maintain, calibrate and verify lab equipment.
• Identify causes of rejection and improve weak points in procedures.
• Develop quality system documentation and perform general lab maintenance.

What's your mission?

The principal object of this position is to carry out tasks related to fragrance quality control and making sure that measuring and testing equipment are set up and working correctly.

Here’s what you’ll be rocking every day

• Raw Materials homologation analysis (organoleptic and physical-chemical analysis).

• Equipment maintenance, calibration and verification.

• Learning and assisting in the identification of causes of rejection in a fragrance quality control.

• Identify and improve weak points in procedures (with his/her acquired expertise).

• Develop the quality system documentation.

• Perform general lab maintenance.

What you need to shine in this role

• Scientific (chemical, biology, engineering, food,etc) degree or Grado medio/superior. Fragrance trainings/master are a plus.

• Desirable* 2-3 years of experience in a fragrance or flavour company in a technical or analysis or quality control department.

• Gas chromatography interpretation (Intermediate), Olfactive skills (Intermediate).
