Tetra Pak Envases S.A. in Arganda, Spain, seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer & SPC Coordinator to lead testing, data-driven quality analysis and plant-wide SPC.

You will guide Quality Operators, ensure accurate reporting, and drive process improvement with cross-functional teams. The role requires a university degree in a related field, 1–2 years of experience, and fluency in Spanish and English, along with SAP and MS Office skills.

Formación

• University degree in mechanical or chemical engineering, production technology, or materials technology with 1–2 years of experience.
• Experience leading through influence in an informal leadership role is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards such as BRC, ISO9000 and ISO14000.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; proficient in MS Office and SAP.

Responsabilidades

• Lead plant-wide SPC program and drive the use of statistical tools to monitor performance.
• Perform and supervise quality tests and ensure data integrity in reporting systems.
• Provide leadership to Quality Operators responsible for testing and inspection.
• Train and develop the Quality Operators to maintain technical competence.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Continuous Improvement to reduce variation.

Job Summary

Are you passionate about quality and how Quality Control & Quality Assurance within the converting factories can be improved? If so, this position could be for you!

Tetra Pak Envases S.A. is seeking for open minded, highly motivated person to take the challenge and be the member of the Quality Department of the factory in Arganda.

This position will serve as the technical expert for testing methodologies, data-driven quality analysis, and process control, while providing functional leadership to the Quality Operators responsible for laboratory and testing activities.

This position will be based in Arganda, Spain and reports to the Quality Manager.

What you will do

In this position you will work with improvement activities together with representatives from our converting factories.

• Product Quality Tests: understand all the test methods for quality tests process related; able to perform all the tests well.
• Lead and coordinate the plant-wide Statistical Process Control (SPC) program, driving the effective use of statistical tools to monitor and improve process performance.
• Provide technical support for quality reporting systems, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Provide functional leadership to the team of Quality Operators responsible for testing and inspection activities.
• Ensure the technical competence of the Quality Operators through training, coaching, and continuous development.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and other departments to reduce process variation and improve operational performance.

We believe you have

• University degree (preferably mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, production technology or materials technology) combined with 1-2 years' of experience
• Experience leading through influence in an informal leadership role is considered a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and industry standards BRC, ISO9000 and ISO14000
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Good MS Office & SAP skills
