Wipro Limited is seeking a GUI QA Engineer to enhance and expand our UI test framework for GUI applications. Hybrid work mode: Tue-Thu in Madrid office and 2 days remote, with potential full office during ramp-up.

Responsibilities include identifying automation opportunities and boosting test coverage across global enterprise projects using Playwright or Selenium. Required skills: UI automation, Python/Java, and experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions, plus JIRA for defect

Formación

• Experience in UI test automation for GUI applications.
• Strong knowledge of Playwright or Selenium.
• Familiar with CI/CD and automated test execution.

Hybrid work mode; Tue-Thu from the office in Madrid and 2 days remote. Probably all 5 days in office until ramp up is completed.

Responsibilities

• Support and expand the UI test framework for GUI applications.
• Help to identify opportunities for automation, and support efforts to increase test coverage
• Support efforts to increase test coverage

Technical skills

• UI Automation: Selenium or Playwright (Strong preference for Playwright), UI Automation Framework Design, Page Object Model (POM), TestNG/JUnit/PyTest
• Python or Java, Automation scripting, OOP concepts
• GUI Testing: Desktop/Web GUI testing, UI validation, User workflow testing, Regression testing
• CI/CD: Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Git, Automated test execution
• Defect Management: JIRA, Bug reporting, Root cause analysis
• English
