Wipro Limited in Madrid is seeking a GUI QA Engineer to strengthen our automation and quality assurance efforts for multi-module applications. You will design and execute test cases, implement UI validation, and collaborate with developers to improve test coverage, RC adherence, and release readiness in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires 5 years of experience and expertise in Selenium or Playwright, Python or Java, and CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

Formación

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to develop multi-module test cases and set up test environments while preparing test evidence and validating system functionality.

Areas of Responsibility

• Requirement Analysis and Documentation: Create technical requirement documents based on the inputs received from clients through discussions and demos.
• Creation of Test Cases: Create test cases based on the functional requirements ensuring test coverage across multiple modules.
• Test Data and Environment Setup: Create data validation scenarios and set up test environment in collaboration with the client stakeholder.
• Test Execution and Result Analysis:
  • Execute functional and regression testing to identify defects and document the results of the test cases.
  • Prepare test evidence and test review documents.
  • Log and update the defect status in the test management tool.

Location: Madrid, Spain

Work Setting: Hybrid work mode; Tue-Thu from the office in Madrid and 2 days remote. Probably all 5 days in office until ramp up is completed.

Experience: 5 years of experience

Key Responsibilities

• Support and expand the UI test framework for GUI applications.
• Help to identify opportunities for automation and support efforts to increase test coverage.

Required Skills & Experience

• UI Automation: Selenium or Playwright (strong preference for Playwright), UI Automation Framework Design, Page Object Model (POM), TestNG/JUnit/PyTest
• Programming: Python or Java, Automation scripting, OOP concepts
• GUI Testing: Desktop/Web GUI testing, UI validation, User workflow testing, Regression testing
• CI/CD: Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Git, Automated test execution
• Defect Management: JIRA, Bug reporting, Root cause analysis
• Languages: English

Mandatory Skills

• Product Testing.
