UPS in Málaga is seeking an Intern to monitor the overall Quality System status of the distribution center, ensuring compliance with GMP, drug and local regulations, and maintaining quality processes through procedures, training and inspections.

You will support SOP development, conduct inspections, assist with NCRs, change controls, and participate in audits with clients and regulators, gaining hands-on QA experience in a Fortune Global 500 environment.

Formación

• GMP familiarity with quality systems and procedures.
• Quality Assurance experience in relevant industries is preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for pharmaceuticals/healthcare/food is a plus.
• QPIC/AQPIC designation is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures staff is trained in GMP and related procedures.
• Writes and revises Standard Operating Procedures as required.
• Conducts regular inspections and maintains records including findings and actions.
• Coordinates with clients and assists during external audits.
• Liaises with regulatory officials during audits where applicable.
• Supports QA questions and provides timely feedback to stakeholders.
• Monitors processes to ensure regulatory compliance and effective operation.
• Investigates discrepancies and initiates corrective actions as needed.
• Contributes to proactive quality improvement initiatives and change control processes.
• Completes NCR and change control documentation and follow-up.

Job Summary

This position monitors the overall Quality System status of the distribution center. This position acts in compliance to drug, medical device, and local regulations. Ensures quality processes are maintained through the implementation of procedures, training, and regular inspections.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all staff is trained in their respective job functions, including GMP.
• Writes and revises Standard Operating Procedures as required.
• Conducts regular inspections of the facility and recordkeeping, including summarization and reporting of findings. Coordinate or assist with corrective actions and continuous
• Communicates with clients and provides information during external audits
• Liaises with Health Canada officials during regulatory audits.
• Provides feedback and assistance to Customer/Client QA related questions and concerns.
• Monitors the processes and systems within the Department to ensure regulatory compliance and effective operation.
• Investigates discrepancies and problems, and advise the appropriate individuals of the findings.
• Assists in development of pro-active strategies as a preemptive measure against potential future problems with systems or processes.
• Completes NCR reports and change control requests and provide necessary follow-up.
• Performs maintenance, support, and continuous improvements of Quality Systems.
• QPIC designation duties.

Qualifications

• Pharmaceutical, healthcare or food industry experience - Preferred
• Quality Assurance experience - Preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science related field (or internationally comparable degree) required - Preferred
• QPIC/AQPIC designation - Preferred
